From Wild Hearts to In Dreams

...and other loose connections.

Roy Orbison had been rather absent from the music scene in the 1980s. But then he popped up just where you'd least expect it: on Zang Tuum Tumbb, singing Wild Hearts, for the Insignificance soundtrack.

That was 1985. In 1986 he recorded another song for a film soundtrack: In Dreams, for David Lynch's Blue Velvet. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame less than 12 months later.

And in 2009, Claudia Brücken and Andrew Poppy reboot their Another Language project for their own delicately personal take on In Dreams. The result will be heard on ZTT soon...
